1. Digital Products Non-Refundability

Chiky distributes digital goods and services, including virtual coins ("Coins"), animated livestream gifts ("Gifts"), and VIP tier subscriptions.

Strict Consumption Policy

All purchases of virtual Coins, VIP privileges, and digital products represent intangible license permissions delivered and consumed instantly upon checkout. Once Coins are successfully credited to your Chiky user wallet, or a Gift is delivered to a creator, the purchase is final, consumed, and **strictly non-refundable**.

We enforce this non-refundability to maintain a stable, fair economic platform for our broadcasting creators, as gifts and coins represent instant creator payout credits and animation deliveries that cannot be retracted.

2. Technical Failure Exceptions

We understand that rare software malfunctions or API transaction connection latencies can occur. CHIKY TECHNOLOGIES LLC will evaluate and approve refund claims strictly under the following criteria:

  • Duplicate Billing: Your credit card or cardholder account was debited multiple times due to a browser retry, system delay, or gateway glitch during a single transaction click. We will refund the duplicate charge.
  • Non-Delivery of Coins: A payment was successfully captured, but due to database latency, your Chiky wallet failed to receive the corresponding coins within **2 hours** of purchase, and our manual support team cannot force-credit your ledger.

Technical refund claims must be reported within **7 calendar days** of the date of transaction. Any claim submitted past this threshold will be denied automatically.

3. Cancellation Process

VIP Subscriptions: If you enrolled in an auto-renewing premium VIP membership, you may cancel future renewal cycles at any time:

  • If purchased via Mobile App Stores, manage and terminate auto-renewals inside your **Google Play Subscriptions** or **Apple App Store Subscriptions** profile settings.
  • If purchased via our direct credit card portal, navigate in your Chiky app to **Profile > Settings > Wallet > VIP Subscriptions** and tap **Cancel Auto-Renewal**.

Upon cancellation of auto-renewal, your active VIP status will remain operational until the final day of your current paid billing period. We do not provide prorated partial refunds for unused days.

4. How to Claim a Refund

To request a refund under the technical exceptions outlined above, you must submit a written claim to our billing operations desk:

Your refund request email MUST contain all of the following transaction verification details:

  • Your unique **Chiky User ID (UID)** (found under Profile).
  • Your registered email address and mobile number.
  • The exact date, time (UTC), and amount of the purchase.
  • The official transaction ID or receipt reference (e.g. Stripe Charge ID, Google Play order number).
  • A clear screenshot of your wallet transaction history showing the non-delivery.
  • The credit/debit card brand and the last 4 digits (e.g. Visa ending in 9876). **NEVER email your CVV or full credit card number.**

5. Processing & Settlement Timelines

We investigate and settle legitimate financial refunds efficiently under a strict SLA:

3 - 5 Days

Internal Investigation

Our database administrators evaluate transaction logs and gateway statuses to verify technical non-delivery or duplicate charge validity.

5 - 10 Days

Bank Settlement

If approved, we trigger the gateway reversal. Your card issuer or bank takes 5 to 10 standard business days to credit your statement.

6. payment Dispute and Fraud Warning

Chargebacks: We cooperate closely with card-issuing banks, Stripe, and global risk management departments to screen for chargeback fraud.

Submitting a false or malicious payment dispute (e.g., claiming a coin purchase was unauthorized after spending the coins or sending virtual gifts to creators) is considered a material violation of our Terms of Service. Chiky reserves the right to immediately terminate the abusive account, ban the device hardware identifier, and submit IP address records, device logs, and UID activities to our acquiring networks and risk databases.
